Skills and Drills Class

We promised new class with some unique aspects to it. The trial run is this Saturday at 9 a.m. The “Skills and Drills” class will be scheduled weekly and with enough interest we will offer it on a routine consistent basis. Although certain aspects of it may seem very advanced, anyone can participate. Everything has a progression and you will learn which ones will move you towards mastering a skill. The format will typically include an advanced technique in gymnastics, exercises to increase general core strength, and an interval style of conditioning. The focus of each class will be announced every Sunday night.

This Saturday you will learn the hanging kip and how it is utilized to generate momentum for pull-ups, knee to elbow, and toe to bar. We will learn jump rope mechanics in developing the single and double under. Our conditioning will apply some kettlebell cycles that will require control of pace and consistency in movement.
