Push up 1

Pull-up Pull-up 2

It's easy to get caught up in our own desires and goals. This is not a bad thing. In fact, it is where everything starts. We choose to excercise because we want to be healthy, able, fit, and happy. We push ourselves to achieve results, triumph over adversity, and take pride in ourselves. As we pursue these qualities it is impossible to avoid occasional frustration. There are movements we are continually working on. We may want to achieve a goal bodyweight. Many of us complain that certain parts of our body are "fat." We wish we could spot train but it doesn't exist. Goals, both functional and aesthetic are good. What choice do you make when the numbers aren't where you want them? This fork in the road is where you decide your fate. Keep it simple.

If you are working on physical performance you will simply have to work hard on your weaknesses. You need to train with patience, effort, and intelligence. If you want to reduce your bodyfat percentages you will have to eat correctly. Just remember that you are unique in your genetic make up. Some will have to work harder than others on certain exercises. We all store body fat in typical places more than others. This is just fact.

When you catch yourself complaining, try and put things into perspective. There are many people who would do anything to have your attributes. Take all the hardships that people have or encounter and be thankful for what you have.
