The Olympic Lifting classes are going great. Members are getting an to experience and learn some very technical aspects of the lifts. The number of things to focus on can be a bit overwhelming. Just let it come a little at a time and let movement memory start to kick it. As you become confident with movement patterns, learn to be very aggressive. There is nothing calm about creating upward acceleration on a heavy load. Aside from tehcnique points, which are the base for proper execution, flexibility and strength issues are equally as important. Everyone who attends the class will quickly learn where their limitations exist. You must continue diligent work with your flexibility. You should continue to build a solid strength base, especially with the squat. Be patient and the rewards are endless.
