O-lifting Information


O-lifting Information

We will be starting a Saturday Intro session next Saturday, May 25th. This is for anyone wanting to learn the basics of Olympic Lifting. If you are new to the gym or have not had any experience, this is for you and is required to attend (possibly several sessions) before attending the Wednesday sessions. If you have had some exposure and are not sure, contact us. However, the Saturday session will still be of benefit to you so you don’t have to be cleared for that. For those of you with experience (you are able to roll through our warm-up with skill and speed. Have established max. numbers) this is an open session for you to come lift. You still need to sign up for the class. We will have an occasional eye on you but you are mostly on your own. However, your programming will be provided by the coach. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thruster Rx 95/63

Scaling Notes: Dumbbells. If you cannot perform this many pull-ups, substitute Body Rows. No bands or other modifications for a pull-up.
