Melissa Kron shared something really awesome. In her words: "Today I was selected as the 2010 Missouri Baptist Medical Center Health Hero. I was nominated by a co-worker and the selection committee chose me! I'm super excited as this is an honor that means so much to me. To have co-workers acknowledge your accomplishments and respect you as a role model for health and fitness is pretty special; All part of my mission to "pay it forward."

We will be open on Labor Day for open gym. 8 a.m.-12 noon. There are no classes but everyone is welcome to come in and get a workout in.
Thursday Strength/Skill Work: 5 sets of 3 Deadlifts. Rest exactly 1 minute between sets. Take a 3-5 minute rest and stretch the back and hamstrings. 5 sets of max rep rings dips or push-ups. Rest exactly 1 minute between sets. Take 3-5 minutes to stretch the chest and shoulders.
