CFVP is proud to announce that Margaret Junker has qualified for individual competition for the 2013 CrossFit Games! She will go to Regionals in May taking place at the Navy Pier in Chicago. This is a huge accomplishment and we couldn’t be happier for her. Way to go Margaret and we’ll be cheering you on in May.
THE CROSSFIT VALLEY PARK/CROSSFIT BAR X OPEN STYLE COMPETITION IS A GO. THIS WILL BE A 3 WEEK TEAM COMPETITION WITH THE FINAL ON MAY 19TH HERE AT CFVP. TEAMS WILL CONSIST OF 2 MALES AND 2 FEMALES. TEAMS WILL BE A COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCED/ADVANCED ATHLETES PAIRED UP WITH BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE ATHLETES. TO PREVENT STACKED TEAMS AND PROMOTE THE SPIRIT OF THIS COMPETITION, COACHES WILL FORM TEAMS. THE FIRST WEEK’S WORKOUTS WILL BE POSTED ON SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH. THERE IS A SIGN UP SHEET ON THE BULLETIN BOARD. BEFORE YOU SIGN UP, MAKE SURE YOU CAN COMPETE ON THE 19TH. WE MUST HAVE YOUR NAME IN BY FRIDAY, MAY 26TH. NO LATER!!!!!! THIS IS TRULY FOR ANYONE SO TAKE THE CHALLENGE!!!!
