Box Jump 

Kara Funk and Dan Furnas may be new faces to some of you. They are both doing great with CrossFit and Dan gets bonus points (notice the success journal)!! We had some fun with ring movements and escalating box jumps. We worked our way up to 28 inches! Remember when you are working on getting more elevation, it's not about going fast and furious. Take each jump seperately, focus, and don't get fatiqued. This is power/skill work. We still haven't found a pretty way to miss a box jump so don't take flight if your mind is filled with doubt.

We have opened up a new class on Tuesday/Thursday mornings, 9a.m.-10a.m. To all new members. Remember you are joining a unique community that is supportive of your efforts. This is perhaps the coolest thing about CrossFit. We are a team of friends, family, and peers all working towards the goal of good health and fitness. Don't be afraid to ask for help and ask questions. Keep in contact with your intro. coach so you stay on track and please suggest class times that would be good for you.
