The CFVP "Partner Throwdown" starts at 8 a.m. tomorrow. We will run the first heat between 8:30 and 9 a.m. We've added a few twists to the day to keep it interesting. Things should run quickly and we plan on being done no later than 10:30 a.m.
You will notice a few changes to our schedule starting next week. You will no longer see the "CrossFit II" classes. Instead you will see weekly programming with "Advanced Options." We feel this structure will provide opportunity to work on skills of all levels within one class. Well will also begin to run the same WOD for all classes on each day. Each WOD will also have "Advanced Options." It's important to always remember to scale movements and loads according to your ability. We are transitioning to a different blog host and by using "CrossFit Whiteboard" you will be able to post your results online.
Lastly, you will see our Olympic Lifting 2 hour classes have moved to an earlier 5-7 p.m. time on Mondays and Wednesdays. For those of you who are beginners and have attending the weekend intros, we have 2 classes weekly. These are hour long classes that will address one lift only, followed with strength work and WOD. Programming will be posted for all Olympic Lifting classes. If you are a more experience lifter but still want to get your lifting in, you are welcome to attend these hour long classes as well. The work will be the same for everyone.
